Well, I haven't been on here in a while, but in the time that I've been nowhere to be found, I turned 18!
It's a strange freedom that keeps hitting me like a glass of water to the face everyday.
Everyday I wake up thinking,"I could go out, get a job, move out, get a driver's license, get married, and I wouldn't need my parents consent for ANYTHING!!!!
But I'm not to sure I want to exercise my freedom just yet, lol.
As I said in my last journal, we've moved. There's not too many problems with the house, but one thing that bothers me is my floor is slanted a little bit.
It's too easy to have my paints and water to flop over now.
I also have a website now: cheyennemartinart.webs.com/
You can see more than just my paintings and drawings, etc. there. I'm hoping to fill up the "Crochet" folder with my crocheted items.
Plus I'm going to put up a folder in the Gallery that shows what art of mine has won awards, and I might also put up a folder to show what art has been entered in contests, but didn't win anything.
I don't update it very often, but I might put more things there than here...
And in March, I came up with a plan for the next five years.
"A plan?" You say.
"Yes, a plan!" I exclaim.
You see, I'm not too sure what I want to be "when I grow up". I could pursue art, but it's very underrated, and very few are recognized for their talent, and I kind of lack in that area.
And I'm actually smart enough that I could pursue many other fields, and we need quite a few professional jobs filled in my hometown - like veterinarian, which is what I wanted to be when I was younger, and we also need some good lawyers around here.
So, anyhow, I'm not too sure what I want to be, and I graduate high school this year. This coming school year is typically when someone like me heads off to college, knowing what they want to be. But since I don't know what I'm going to be, I'm not going to any college next year. I'm going to spend my time saving up money, and figuring out what I want to do with the rest of my life. And if I don't know what I want to be by the school year after that, I'll go to art school, because that's what I'm best at (even though I'm not too good at it...
So, let's hope I don't screw anything up, and hope that I figure out what I want to do!
'Til next time!
Comments, faves, and all that is appreciated!
